This 3 day course offers classroom curriculum with an added Virtual Reality component giving learners an immersive experience. This will provide more comfort on the job site when working with loads, cranes, lifts, etc. This program highlights safety and other valuable job site resources.

VET Canada Using Oculus Headsets

Virtual Training for Electricians

Virtual Electric Training (VET) is a cutting-edge virtual reality training program for apprentices. Our lessons include both a step-by-step guided mode and a testing mode that provides Learning Management System (LMS) feedback for the instructor and the student.


Current Lessons in VET 1 Include Residential Electrical:


  • Single-pole switch installation
  • single-pole switch and switched receptacle installation
  • Two Three-way switches controlling a light
  • Controlling a light from three locations and installing a GFCI


Lessons in VET 2: Conduit Bending


The seven lessons each teach a different conduit bend, including:

  1. 90º Stub-Up using the Arrow Method
  2. 90º Stub-Up using the Star Method
  3. Back-to-Back 90 Bends
  4. 3 Bend Back-to-Back
  5. Offset Bend
  6. 3 Bend Saddle
  7. 4 Bend Saddle
